Four – Leaf Clover
Four – Leaf Clover
A four-leaf clover
A symbol of luck
But how it worked
Left me star struck!
An ancient Myth
If this was plant you plucked
You would be granted faith
And infinite luck!
What was luck?
Was it wining a prize?
Was it seeing the world?
Was it finding the love of your life?
What I find lucky,
Would other people too
What if someone’s luck
Was something I find Untrue?
If someone finds a flower
And say they were lucky
It would seem silly
People would prefer money!
But what if that flower
Was found in a dessert
Without an inch of wildlife
Then would the flower be considered less?
What if that flower
Was the last of its kind?
Would that be a miracle?
Or something useless to find?
Why was this clover lucky?
Was it because it wasn’t typical
So would the ordinary people
Not get a miracle?
All this flower did was grow
Yet it was counted as spectacular
We humans also grow
Aren’t we just as miraculous?
What if everyone was lucky?
And we were just blind
We just wanted more
What if we deceived our mind?
The clover was in my hair
It didn’t give any miracles
Or was I just Ungrateful
Was my life the true miracle?
