A lady under a Maple tree

This poem is dedicated to my friend Shweta Rai
A lady under a Maple tree
Under a maple tree
I saw her
Lost in herself
Waiting for a bus
She was humming
May be her favorite song
Wearing a hat round
and a coat long
Standing head down
And tapping her feet
On a musical note
Dry leaves ran towards her
With a gust of wind
And suddenly
She stops to sing
She covers her face
Fully with her arm around
I saw her glimpse
So pretty she, I found
Her eyes were shiny
Her lips were full
And a round face
A lady with elegance
And the purest smile
With beauty and grace…!
