Ifs, buts and lots of sighs…
Smiles, blushes and loads of warmth
Music, poetry and all mushy stuff
Aren’t these what love is made up of!

Pains, dreams and desires strong
Passion, feelings, illusions all day long!
Pining heart, aching mind
Call it love…it hurts all the same!

Checking messages for the umpteenth time
Gloating with smile reading  them
Where you long to run after the day’s toil
Where you long to be each moment without fail!

Unrequited sometimes,
Investment without return
Hurts and scars…we curse love often
Our own dreams, desires and pain
We seek from others
What lies within!
