Embracing the Journey

Embracing the Journey
Someday when you come to me,
Bewildering about your life spree.
You’d say you’re losing hope,
Holding yourself from that last rope.
I would embrace you all over, To express and love your presence,
To tell you what you are made for,
And how you bring to life that essence.
You’d ask me if it’s even worth it?
To give in all your sweat and tears.
My love, one thing I’ll always tell you
You’ve already overcome that fear.
Your endurance and sheer courage,
Is a pure inspiration to myself.
The kind of gift and talent you have,
I wish you could embrace yourself.
Your life is celebrated all over,
By your loved ones without a doubt.
You’d ask me if it’s worth it,
I’d say, “Isn’t this what life is all about?”
