A lonely Shred
A lonely Shred
If I shred my tears in front of you,
Know that you’re special to me.
I’m tired of writing down my feelings,
In a book which no one might care to read,
But if you dare to listen to my story,
Know that you’re special to me.
If my thoughts had a place to hide,
I might long be gone to that lonely island,
Lost and never found,
But if you care to just stay with me,
While I find new happiness,
Know that you’re special to me.
If you can make me happy over a burger,
Know that you are special to me.
Because in a world full of fake feelings and bizarre social media posts,
People have just lost touch with humanity, trust and hope,
Things which always mattered more to me,
If you know what I mean by these metaphors,
Know that you are special to me.
