The meaning of Life

The meaning of Life
I asked for something, a someone, a sign.
I got them all and would you believe it if I told you, I dismissed those big, impossible dreams once fulfilled, and dared to ask for more?
We ask and ask, it’s in our nature to remain curious even after getting answers. In fact we seek for more questions to be answered. The hunger is undying, the hunger for finding ourselves in yet another uncomfortable situation from which we want relief. Relief is far from a constant, what’s constant is looking for it. Joy is fleeting, but only if we deny ourselves the knowledge that to seek and find and to cherish that journey is true ecstasy.
Then why do we also berate ourselves for not giving up on craning our necks towards adventure and possibly. We’re never completely fulfilled. Who ever made that out to be a bad thing!
I remember having told my ailing heart once, if I had love, I’d not ask for a thing more.
I couldn’t keep my word. I was and remain grateful but that’s not to say I don’t still have a hundred things I want, which when fulfilled will birth a hundred more.
In that spirit, I’d like to wedge something in here! Can we try to be a little less anxious about incompletion? Only death can bring complete release of all desires. If we have to die to be happy, what’s the point of living!
